Shooting at Fort Hood

(CNN) -- Eleven people plus a gunman were killed and 31 were wounded after the gunman opened fire at Fort Hood in Texas on Thursday, a Fort Hood spokesman said.
The gunman was a soldier, and two other soldiers have been detained as suspects, said the spokesman, Lt. Gen. Bob Cone.
Cone said more than one shooter may have been involved.

The Army is a small world. I work with people originally from Hood, and chances are, I know someone there right now. Shit like this scares the crap out of me.

I know 5 people in Fort Hood right now. It is very scary. I hear the guy who did it never made it out of the US and was to be sent off soon. They are also now reporting that hes alive?!! And he was a shrink?!

How in the hell did he do so much damage with 2 hand guns? Something is up with this story...

the last news story I saw was that some of the injuries may have been caused by friendly fire. another theory is that since it was in a small, enclosed area, some injuries may have been from ricochet. But it'll probably be days or even weeks before we'll know, if we ever will.
